Forgot we not......Shushant Sing Rajput!

His mother used to tell him:

Our lives are the stories that we tell ourselves again and again.
To which young Shushant told himself, “If my life will be the stories that I tell myself; I should better prepare myself to tell the stories that are worth telling”
First turn of events...
Murmur between two rankers at the college canteen Year: 2005.
Place: Delhi engineering college
(Arrival at Mumbai date was: 26 October 2006)

“Are you serious? No girls here?” “at all?”  “very few” “Not a single interesting one”
Yaar! I dint signed up for this. I studied hard all my life thinking to get into this college for what?

To find out that there is no female soul here? This is unfair!

Friend: hey! Chill, But Shiamak Davar’s dace academy might be a better place.
You should also check out my friend's gym. He says it is crowded with hot girls!
Shushant: Thanks, bro. I’ll guess I'd do just that.

Barry John’s drama class happened organically after shiamak said you are not my favorite dancer, however there is something special in you that I keep you always in front. Sushant had a mind of his own. He believed Discipline is the only thing that sets you free. When in berry john’s class he got “A” in diploma, he took it very seriously and saw new dream. Set out for television and Pavitra Rishta happened. Pavitra Rishta become super hit making him known face in every household.

He suddenly left television at the top. And waited and prepared for 3 years for that one break and new mindset in films. One event triggered another after barry john’s acting class and break after “pavitra Rishta”. Physical fitness, weight loss, grooming, Dance and acting lead him to think, his personality and cute face was apt for not only television but also big screen, the cinema. And he was right! And then he got his first film “Kaipo Chhe” (released 2013)
His own mind, could quickly jump the status quo, think out of the box and it always loved excitement, newness, mystery, danger. Unpredictability and uncertainty that gave him high of risk-taking  The cocktail of creativity...fear, excitement gave him high if he thought Its a completely new experience, it will frighten him to take action. His risk-taking ability and a great appetite for danger were certainly going to take him places.

Freshly from Delhi, Shushnat comes out in the evening on the streets of Mumbai. Hungry. What he encounters is a thela of Vadapaav. Not fresh. made in the morning. After becoming star he made Vada paav wala to make fresh vada paav for him.

Yet, 3rd-year college and just 2 semesters away from engineering degree as a ranker, he decided to quit academic race to become an actor. That decision was extreme bcoz the traditional path of academics is considered very important in India.

Soon, Shushant sing Rajput zoomed past every hurdle of entering into the glamour world. And got his first film “Kaipo Chhe" with co-stars Amit Sadh and Rajkumar Rao; The film becomes a hit.

Before that, even when he was dancing behind all known actors. He told his mind, I need to take just a few steps to come forward.

Imagine a ranker engineer who passed 11 entrances and even achieved 8th rank from an entire country, is competing in the dance filed. Then he becomes the biggest star on television with Ekta Kapoor's famous serial...
‘Pavitra Rishta’ But he did not stop there, he becomes the name to reckon with. Still in October 2011 he decided to quit television. After the huge success of "Dhoni", he was probably the next superstar in the making. Or probably against the opinion of all nepotistic Hitlers, he had arrived. Already!

He came, he conquered he smiled he won hearts and he is gone forever without saying a single word.

Psychological timeline:
A guy who grew up with lot of care-comes out in the world. disillusioned of its ways- turns-shy-and- introvert-he dare not speak his highly developed inner world- because it does not match in wavelength with the frequency other are functioning in- he could not find resonance with them – this inner dialogs are almost alien he know- and he find solace in staying a low key personality- speaking almost nothing in group talks-he know he is different-finds difficult to express anything to fairer sex-others are unaware about his extreme sensitivities- he become more and more introvert to save himself. He has lot of time to spend with himself-correct his world view-learn from many books he reads…
Cut-to-years later
He comes out of his shell with new-found expression tool- hiding behind all these characters –he plays- he feels safe- and powerful
Part 1

“Only two things we want in our lives is to understand and to be understood”
                                                                 - Shushant Singh Rajput

A 34- year old- happy- go-lucky -guy, who had everything in his life, can’t hang himself to death. This is a common sense.
DEATH and beyond: The saddest part of this book is the realisation that he indeed is gone for ever but-
The last dialog of a popular Hindi Film Anand said, “Anand Mara nahi, Anand Marte Nahi”. Anand is not dead, Anand does not die. The film saw Rajesh Khanna playing such a dear and lively character, even though people knew he will die in the end, the death of that character was too sad to handle.
The take away was obvious, Even Death could not overpower the lively cheerful memories of his life.
Amidst everybody is talking about the death of SSR, we somehow forget Shushsnat sing Rajput’s fully vibrant life.
He was so much alive in real life; the same dialog is perfect to recognise the immortal existence he created more than the timeless void he left...

“Shushant Mara nahi, shushant Marte Nahi”;
Shushsnat is not dead, people like Shushant don't die.
